Men of the Kaduna state police command stormed a forest where bandits were operating and rescued a 17-year old kidnap victim on Saturday, December 4. A statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, ASP Muhammed Jalige, disclosed this in a statement released to newsmen. “On the 4th December 2021 at about 2pm, the Operatives of the Command while on routine patrol around Sabon Birnin Daji forest, intercepted sounds of sporadic gunshot coming through the forest and decided to courageously cum forcefully find out what could be responsible for such act.While on the mission, the operatives stormed a kidnapper's den where a fierce exchange of fire ensued which resulted in the rescue of one Sani Adamu m 17yrs of old Sabon Gida airport while the bandits escaped with varying bullet wounds'' he said According to the statement, the said victim was immediately taken to Kutungare primary healthcare center for medical attention.Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim was abducted while working on a rice farm around Afaka village in Kaduna.
